We are very excited to open the NEW Scrum Gathering Submission System for the Scrum Gathering Atlanta! We have been hard at work over the past few months and we'd like to thank Submission System Product Owner, Vernon Stinebaker for his dedication and assistance getting the system up and running. Our new system will provide a standard process for proposal submission and review for all Scrum Gatherings moving forward.

We are pleased to offer compensation to the Primary Author of each accepted presenation the following compensation. Regretfully, we cannot offer splitting or transferring compensation to additional presenters.
- (1) Complimentary Registration
- (2) nights accommodation
Note: You cannot accumulate complimentary registrations however you may accumulate hotel nights for every session you present as a Primary Author [up to a maximum of (4) nights].
TIMELINE:The Scrum Gathering Atlanta Co-Chairs & Review Team have set the following timelines for submission, review and selection of the Scrum Gathering Atlanta Program.
- Submission System OPEN - January 19th
- Submission System CLOSED - February 20th
- Accepted & Rejected Notifications Sent Out - March 2nd
- Program Announced- March 4th
To begin your submission, please click the link ‘Call for Abstracts’ on the left side of this page. This page will provide a breakdown of information required by each field.
After you have read through all of the Call for Abstract guidelines and are ready to begin, click the link ‘Submit new abstract’.
You will be required to create a User Profile with your first use of the system, which you will be able to use for all Scrum Gathering Submissions moving forward. Once you create, verify and activate your User Profile, Click on ‘Submit new abstract’ to begin.
Note: The system does not have a SAVE function, however you will be able to edit your submission(s) once submitted by simply logging in and clicking on "View my abstracts".
Once submitted, your proposal will be peer reviewed. All identifying information will be removed, reviewers will score based on content only.
As you prepare your proposal we ask that you take into account some of the feedback received from past Gatherings. Attendees are NOT looking for sales presentations but rather they are looking to learn the skills and knowledge that can help improve the use of Scrum at their workplaces. Please focus on knowledge transfer, not building a future book of business.
